Plus, it is more energy efficient as well as cheaper than other window options.  The drawback to using plexiglass is that it can scratch easily and ruin quickly. Sometimes it is best to use this material as a temporary replacement for a broken window or as added insulation.

How do you measure a replacement window for an RV?
To accurately measure for a replacement RV side window, you need to remove the glass, its frame, and rubber seal. Then you need to measure the opening and not the window.  You will need to take a few measurements to ensure that your dimensions are accurate and account for any rounded sections of the window. This is not like measuring an opening to fit a 2 x 4 or a sheet of plywood.
